Carousel (1998)

Carousel, a classic American musical by Richard Rodgers and George Hammerstein, tells the story of a lone carnival barker named Billy Bigelow and a mill worker named Julie Jordan. Their marriage ends in tragedy, leading to Billy’s violent behavior and eventual suicide. After returning to earth 15 years later, he meets a girl named Louise, who he helps instills with hope. Carousel was voted the best musical of the 20th century by Time Magazine, showcasing human frailty, resilience, and forgiveness.
